On behalf of the ACM Executive Board, we announce that the Summit and Annual Americas Conference of Mayors and City Councilors 2021 will be held in a totally virtual format on July 29-30, 2021 with extended programming.

The COVID-19 pandemic makes it impossible to plan for a place-based meeting in a way that would allow for a safe and healthy convening for the Americas Conference of Mayors Annual Meeting participants. We also want to be sure that the presence of the ACM  visitors for a conference does not lead to any further transmission of the virus. 

 

The Annual Conference will not only be virtual but it will be delivered through a flexible internet platform that will provide for synchronous and asynchronous sessions, interactive paper presentations, workshops, and professional development courses, plus networking and meet-up opportunities that can accommodate informal gatherings, receptions, and events. We also will vote for the New Governing Board, and other Standing Committees.

Please prepare your registration starting on March 31, 2021, for the July 29-30, 2021 Virtual Conference Americas Conference of Mayors and City Councilors.
