International Best Practices in Municipal Public Policy and Governance
ABOUT THE INAUGURAL SUMMIT FOR MAYORS 2017
Albuquerque City is the place for the "Inaugural Summit for Mayors." We will host participants from Canada, The United States, Mexico, and Latin America. We will host Mayors, City Managers, Municipality Councilors, Government Officials, and so forth who will come together to learn, network, acknowledge, and exchange new ideas about current and best practices in the field of cities and municipalities.
The Inaugural Summit for Mayors is an initiative of the II-HE a Non-Profit Organization funded on the United States. The ACM Institution hold its Annual Summit every September, starting this 2017. Additional meetings and events are held as directed by the ACM Institution leadership. During the Summit 2017, standing committees and committees recommend policy positions they believe should be adopted by the ACM Institution. Every member attending the annual meeting is given the opportunity to discuss and then vote on each policy resolution. Each city, represented by its mayor, casts one vote. The policy positions adopted at the annual meeting collectively represent the views of the Americans Conference of Mayors Institution and might be distributed to the Executive or Legislative Branch in any of the participating mayor's states and countries.
