CONFERENCE LOCATION, HOTEL AND TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION 

Conference Location

The city of Albuquerque has been selected as the site for The Inaugural Americas Conference of Mayors, Summit 2017, and Track for Scholars and Professionals. All the sessions will be held in comfortable  Ballrooms, but the concurrent sessions will be held in break rooms. 

Hotel Venue

We suggest you reserve at this Hotel in order to get the 2 breakfast (September 8 and 9) and two lunches (September 8 and 9) free of charge.

The Doubletree by Hilton Albuquerque,  located at 201 Marquette Ave NW, Albuquerque, New Mexico,  87102, will be the site for The Inaugural Americas Conference of Mayors and pre-conference events. ACM's negotiated group rate of $119  (plus occupancy tax) per night will be available until August  22, 2017  (or until the negotiated room block is full). ​

Transportation

Below are some resources that can assist you in planning your transportation logistics.

• The Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ) is served by several commercial air carriers, so it should be easy to find air transportation to the conference.

• Amtrak serves Albuquerque (ABQ) on the Southwest Chief route. The Amtrak station is downtown Albuquerque on First Street, near Central (Route 66).

• The Sunport Shuttle and similar companies provide shuttle service from the Albuquerque International Sunport to area hotels for a modest fee, and visitors can rent a car. 

• ABQ Ride and Rapid Ride are the two parts of the City of Albuquerque's public transportation. ABQ Ride buses provide fast, easy and inexpensive transportation to the entire city of Albuquerque. Larger, articulated ("accordion") Rapid Ride buses are equipped with wireless internet and have three different routes that run along Central Avenue.  Buses are scheduled to run every 15 or 20 minutes.
