The Americas Conference of Mayors (ACM) will hold the Second Annual Mayor's Summit and The Inaugural Americas Conference of City Councilors (ACCC) will hold the first annual conference this November 2018. The ACM and the ACCC will host participants from Mexico and New Mexico. The ACM and the ACCC will host Mayors, City Managers, City or Municipality Councilors, Government Officials, Scholars, Researchers, and Professionals who will come together to learn, network, and exchange new ideas about current and best practices in city governance, education and economic development.
The Best Practices Awards for Mayors are a yearly initiative by ACM Institution to acknowledge best practices in municipality or cities work carried out by Mayors and their staff in benefit of their citizens and communities. The awards acknowledge outstanding mayors that, through their commitment to participating in government and community activities, have made a significant impact on the quality of their cities or municipalities. Each year nominations are sought under various categories.
The Americas Conference of Mayors (ACM) and the Americas Conference of City Councilors (ACCC) will offer a wide variety of opportunities, including Plenary Sessions, Roundtables, Keynotes Addresses, Awards Ceremonies for Mayors, Networking Activities, Special Sessions, and more. Most activities are open to all attendees. Mayors and City Councilors will have exclusive Board Meetings, Task Forces, and Committees Meetings to focus on contemporary issues in a collegial environment. We are professionals dedicated to enhancing higher education, and government social and public policies and policy sciences for the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central, and South America through the promotion and advance of excellence in education, best practices in government, social empowerment, institutional diversity, mentoring, and international leadership.

The Sheraton Albuquerque Airport Hotel, located at 2910 Yale Blvd SE, Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87106, is the site for The Americas Conference of Mayors and the Inaugural Conference of City Councilors. The negotiated group rate of $93.00 (plus occupancy tax) per night will be available until October the 26th, 2018 (or until the negotiated room block is full). This price includes continental breakfast during the period of duration of the conference.
